A nasty “hook” on the back molar which pierces the opposite gums when the animal is chewing. It also has very sharp edges which lacerate the sides of the cheeks, making the whole mouth extremely sore (see where finger is placed – left)

A very protruberant tooth in the middle of the tooth line. It is easy to see how this would interfere with eating, causing pain and severe food packing. Similarly it may cause lacerations to the tongue which invariably leads to infectin and abcesses.

The dentist can reduce this tooth so it is the same size as the others, and smooth off any sharp edges, then the animal can eat comfortably again.
